Service Manager

As part of the Industrial X-Ray Systems (IXS) division, our Comet Yxlon brand delivers advanced industrial X-ray and CT solutions for reliable non-destructive testing, analysis and quality assurance in semiconductor, electronics, automotive and other high-tech industries.
What you will do:
- Provide customers with technical support, including installation assistance, maintenance and troubleshooting of X-ray systems.
- Manage regional inventory, ensure all service processes align with financial and quality standards and coordinate field service operations, including service part ordering and logistics.
- Serve as a technical consultant to drive operational excellence, business growth and increase customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and other internal departments.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, or related technical fields.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in semiconductor equipment service or Field Application Engineering (FAE) roles.
- Technical expertise in IC packaging/ testing, optical component inspection, or semiconductor test program development.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset, organizational skills and attention to details, particularly regarding CRM data and financial compliance.
- Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills, a customer focused mindset, and the ability to coordinate across field service, parts logistics, and sales teams.
- Valid local driver’s license.
