Field Inspection Specialist

As part of the Industrial X-Ray Systems (IXS) division, our Comet Yxlon brand delivers advanced industrial X-ray and CT solutions for reliable non-destructive testing, analysis and quality assurance in semiconductor, electronics, automotive and other high-tech industries.

What you will do:

• The Jobholder combines field application engineering, image-processing expertise, customer training, and hands-on solution development. The candidate must be comfortable spending a significant amount of time at customer sites, understanding real inspection challenges, optimizing our solutions, and helping customers use the technology successfully.
• Develop and validate custom image-processing prototypes for semiconductor inspection applications.
• Configure and optimize inspection parameters to improve detection performance, measurement reliability, and usability
• Support deployment, commissioning, and validation of inspection solutions at customer locations.
• Train customers on how to use the inspection software and image-processing workflows.

What you bring:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Imaging Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in image processing and algorithm development for complex 2D and 3D image data with standard frameworks, e.g. OpenCV, PyTorch or similar
• Programming experience in Python or C++.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry, especially in inspection, metrology, advanced packaging, wafer-level inspection, or failure analysis.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English
