Field Application Engineer - Semiconductor Inspection Solutions

What you will do:

• Develop and validate customized image-processing solutions for semiconductor inspection applications.
• Configure and optimize inspection parameters to improve detection accuracy, reliability, and usability.
• Support feasibility studies and collaborate with R&D teams to adapt solutions based on customer requirements.
• Deploy, commission, and validate inspection systems at customer sites.
• Train customers on inspection software and image-processing workflows.
• Provide hands-on technical support to ensure stable and repeatable inspection results.

What you bring:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Imaging Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in image processing and algorithm development for complex 2D and 3D image data with standard frameworks, e.g. OpenCV, PyTorch or similar
• Programming experience in Python or C++.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry, especially in inspection, metrology, advanced packaging, wafer-level inspection, or failure analysis.
• Fluent in Korean and English
• Frequent domestic and international travel (up to 60%) is required for this role
