Design Validation Test (DVT) Engineer

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

 

What you will do:

  • System-Level DVT Planning and Execution: Develop detailed Design Validation Test (DVT) test plans for RF Match equipment, based on product specifications and design documents. Execute functional, performance, thermal, stress, and aging tests in lab environments.
  • Measurement, Data Analysis, and Reporting: Perform in-depth data collection using RF measurement equipment (e.g., VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope). Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and document issues. Conduct CE certification testing with testing agencies.
  • Failure Analysis and Design Feedback: Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineers to analyze failures and propose design improvements. Work closely with reliability teams to ensure product quality over lifecycle.
  • Test Automation and Equipment Management: Develop or improve automated test scripts for repeatability and efficiency. Maintain and calibrate test setups, jigs, and measurement equipment.
  • Cross-functional Communication & Support: Participate in design reviews and provide DVT-related input. Collaborate with other teams (Quality, Operation, Field support, etc). 

 

What you bring: 

  • At least a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering(Computer engineering, Electronic engineer or RF engineering,)
  • At least 3+ years of combined experience in product development or equivalent, as well as experience with planning and execution of design qualification tests. System-level test or design experience with RF is a plus.
  • Experience with writing scripts for automated data collection and processing (Python, Labview, Matlab)
  • Proficient in using electronic measuring instruments for accurate data collection and analysis (Oscilloscope, Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, etc)
  • Must have a deep understanding of analog and digital circuits & systems
