“Regional Sales Manager, Dragonfly Software (Asia)”
Dragonfly, a brand of Comet, develops advanced 3D visualization and analysis software for today's most demanding 2D, 3D, and 4D imaging studies. Dragonfly's software solutions support scientists and researchers to perform complex image analyses and industrial customers to gain actionable information about their products in a repeatable, reliable, and cost-efficient way. Equipped with an advanced machine learning-based segmentation engine, Dragonfly's products feature a user-friendly interface to transform powerful and accurate quantitative findings into high-impact visuals. From the automotive or aerospace industries, to electronics, semiconductors or scientific research, Dragonfly is here to unleash the true potential of image processing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Manage and further develop existing customer base while strategically targeting acquisition of new customers
- Identify and develop new OEM and reseller partners, while managing relationships of existing ones.
- Develop leads and increase incoming sales though customer visits, industry trade shows, and networking.
- Daily use of CRM system to manage accounts, generate quotes, process purchase orders and accurately forecast sales
- Develop the strategic territory business plan and collaborate with Head of Sales to review and plan for execution
- Lead negotiations and close contracts with end customers and reseller / OEM partners
- Feedback new customer requirements, emerging market trends and competitive intelligence to Product Management and R&D in relation to the roadmap
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Affinity for selling complex technical solutions that require detailed explanation in a consultative, problem-solving manner
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to motivate and develop long-term relationships with third-party resellers
- Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce, Pipedrive). Proficiency in image-analysis and processing software a plus.
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English required; additional languages considered plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Software / IT or Business discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a technical sales role with a proven track record of success
- Prior experience and knowledge of X-ray / CT applications will be viewed favorably
- Successful experience managing and growing business through OEM and Reseller sales channels
- Experience combining technical and commercial aspects of the Sales and Business Development process to build customer value propositions.
- Prior formal strategic-selling training
