As part of the Industrial X-Ray Systems (IXS) division, our Comet Yxlon brand delivers advanced industrial X-ray and CT solutions for reliable non-destructive testing, analysis and quality assurance in semiconductor, electronics, automotive and other high-tech industries.

What you will do:  

• The Application Engineer is responsible for delivering advanced application support, demonstrations, training and solution development for YXLON NDT X-ray and CT inspection systems. The role ensures that customers, sales teams and service teams can achieve optimal system performance, reliable inspection results and high-quality application outcomes.
• Act as an operational and application expert for YXLON NDT X-ray and CT inspection systems.
• Support customers in identifying suitable scanning, reconstruction and data analysis approaches for their inspection tasks.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth through professional technical consulting, training and application know-how

What you bring: 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, materials science or a comparable technical discipline.
• Sound understanding of computer-based image processing; knowledge of graphics, image analysis or CT data evaluation is advantageous.
• Fluent spoken and written English; CET-6, IELTS 6.5 or equivalent proficiency is preferred.
• Relevant experience in X-ray inspection systems, large-scale CT systems, third-party testing services or geometrical measurement is an advantage.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic ability to read and process CAD data.
