Key Account Manager (OEM Semiconductor)

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

 

Job Summary: 

The Key Account Manager will develop Comet Technologies position as a critical supplier and development partner to grow revenue and market share at global strategic account.

 

What will you do?

  • Drive design-in wins and build strong relationships within Applied Materials account to advocate for Comet Technologies.
  • Support account profiling by mapping organizational structure, key contacts, market segments, and competitive positioning.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and applications for Comet products.
  • Maintain and update CRM records for leads, contacts, and sales opportunities.
  • Relay customer needs to Product Management for potential new products or services.
  • Manage cross-functional projects and travel as needed to support global customer operations and improve engagement.

What skills you bring:

  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of RF Technology, semiconductor processes including etch, deposition, and related processes is required.
  • Proven expertise in establishing and nurturing customer relationships. Extensive existing customer relations a plus.
  • Ability to understand and be able to clearly communicate technical information with external customer stakeholders and internally within Comet.

Credentials you possess:

  • BS degree in Business or Engineering, MBA preferred.
  • Five to ten (5-10) years of related Key Accounts experience including experience with major semiconductor OEM account management.

 

Compensation for this sales role is comprised of base salary and Sales Incentive Compensation.  The base salary for this role is approximately $185,000 to $215,000 annual, plus a sales incentive plan.
