Director Product Management - Service Products (semiconductor capital equip)

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What you will do:

• Develop and execute the overall strategy for new service products as extension of the PCT sub-RF products including RF generators and matches including RMA, field repairs, digital remote trouble shooting and repair.
• Establish infrastructure with dedicated service product team in close proximity to semiconductor Fabs.
• Efficiently utilize and optimize the existing RMA / NPI facilities and connected smart labs for conventional and digital services.
• Conduct market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive assessments to identify market trends, opportunities, and portfolio gaps.
• Develop and execute new service business models, pricing, and gross margin strategy.
• Drive and achieve strategic target of 15% of Comet PCT business from service products.
• Develop strong partnerships with Comet PCT system product teams to jointly develop packaged system/service products. Working with HW and SW engineering, operations, sales, and field support and products including RF Generators and Vacuum Caps, Filters, and RF Matches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new offerings targeted at growth industries.
• Other duties as assigned in support of the growth and development of these key product offerings.

What you will bring:

• B.S. or M.S. in Science or Engineering.
• Visionary leadership to expand Comet PCT into services business.
• Proven hands-on and leadership experience (>15+ years) in product management, customer service and support or related roles, for Semiconductor equipment or chip  manufacturers, or related industries.
• Proven track-record of building and nurturing customer intimacy and relationships.
• Effective strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with evidence of driving business growth through effective portfolio management.
• Strong ability to identify service growth industries segments with high market potential.
• Experience developing and executing strategies to expand service portfolio with growth opportunities.
• Executive-level communication skills to effectively interact with external customers and internal executives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through cross-collaboration and influencing others, and with or without direct authority.
• Ability to foster collaboration and alignment across departments to drive portfolio growth and profitability.
• Strength in building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and key customers to drive co-development opportunities and enhance product offerings.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency within the Aerospace and Defense Sensing portfolio.

The target salary range for this job is approximately $215,000 to $230,000 annually.
