Job Summary:
The Technical Sales Manager is responsible for growing Dragonfly business within the Americas region by supporting our direct Regional Sales Manager and indirect channel partners (OEMs, Resellers, etc.). The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for a defined region or industry and will partner with the Regional Sales Manager as the subject-matter expert by performing advanced product demonstrations for customers, host engaging webinars and user group meetings, attend trade shows and events, provide applications support, training and additional customer-facing activities, aimed at increasing revenue within the region.
What you will do:
- Drive and grow a dedicated region or market.
- Perform successful customer demonstrations for advanced applications requiring a high level of technical expertise.
- Support the global sales team with technical expertise by participating in trade shows and industry conferences.
- Perform compelling remote webinars and technical talks at industry conferences, acting as the subject-matter expert, providing technical sales training to partners and channel partners.
- Collect voice of customer (VOC) feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence and share with Product Management and R&D to enhance product offerings in alignment to the product roadmap.
What you bring:
- Advanced knowledge of industrial X-Ray and CT technology, image processing and analysis software required.
- Affinity for selling technical products that require detailed explanation in a consultative, problem-solving fashion.
- Advanced level of computer proficiency: Strong knowledge of image-analysis and processing software, fundamentals of cloud computing and computer architecture, Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce, Pipedrive).
- 3+ years of experience in a Technical Sales or Applications Engineer role with a proven track record of success.
- Professional fluency in English (other languages considered a plus).
- Ability to travel up to approximately 35% domestically and internationally.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
- Formal sales training is an advantage.
Compensation for this sales role is comprised of both a base salary and Sales Incentive Compensation. The estimated annual base salary for this job is approximately $110,000 to $120,000.
