Test Automation Engineer

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the R&D Eng team and lead optimization of test software to drive better usability and automation with testing processes and procedures, regardless of NPI transfer or HVM products.
• Develop, document, optimize and maintain LabVIEW based software applications and other programming languages (Python, Visual Basic, C++, C#, and etc) to support automation, testing operations, manufacturing operations & Improvement projects. Such as Implementing new and existing software to support various range testing requirements often involving multiple control systems, communication protocols, instrument control, and data collection functions.
• Create and maintain software development standards.
• Recommends hardware to be upgraded along with software enhancement.
• Provide technical support for testing operations related to software issues.
• Efficiently resolve issues with data acquisition to meet the needs of the customer and Eng team.
• Integration of new features into existing systems
• Team player working effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.
• Fulfill multiple project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Demonstrate appropriate initiative and decision making.
• Software testing, quality assurance, and benchmarking.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent with more than 5 years of related experience in manufacturing industry
• LabView Programming knowledge with Core 1 & 2 is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Radio Frequency (RF) or Source Measurement Unit or Oscilloscope is an added advantage.
• Experience in test measurement, high mix low volume production testing, electrical & electronics troubleshooting.
• Analytical, knowledgeable as well as able to handle high stress and multiple projects in parallel.
• Able to train and lead Test engineers and Test Technicians on special technical tasks and contribute to company technical roadmap.
