Senior System Engineer

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What you will do:

• Manage and maintain servers (Windows/Linux) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V). Automate system processes using scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Configure and maintain enterprise networks, firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols. Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) including deployments, monitoring, and cost optimization. Oversee hybrid cloud environments and support cloud migration initiatives.
• Design, implement, and test backup and disaster recovery strategies.  Ensure data integrity and recovery plans are in place and regularly updated.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide timely resolutions. Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in system administration, IT infrastructure, or a related role.
• Experience in enterprise environments with cloud, virtualization, and security best practices. Strong expertise in Windows/Linux server administration.

• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox). Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, firewalls).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices. Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and IAM.
