Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We develop and produce innovative high-tech components and systems based on X-ray and radio-frequency technology. Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication. 

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What You Will Do

• Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring smooth product transfers from prototype to full-scale production.
• Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes, assembly instructions (OMS), BOMs, and production documentation to improve quality and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, JIT, Kanban, and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce cycle time and increase productivity.
• Investigate manufacturing issues through root cause analysis (RCCA), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and implement effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support global product transfers, capacity planning, tooling and automation improvements, and production readiness.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, with 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in NPI.
• Proven experience in semiconductor equipment manufacturing with strong knowledge of High-Level Assembly (HLA) and electronics manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, SPC, Minitab/JMP, and manufacturing process optimization.
• Strong technical skills in SAP, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and project management tools such as JIRA, with experience managing BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, quality-first mindset and the ability to coach teams and drive continuous improvement.
