Senior Facilities Manager

In the Group Funtions, we support the market-oriented divisions with central services. We work together today on the solutions for tomorrow - in close cooperation with our customers and always with high quality standards.

What you will do:

• Lead and manage our new flagship Penang facility, security and maintenance/industrial engineering teams. Work with counterparts globally to ensure processes for the facility, security, and maintenance/industrial engineering team are standardized and best practices adopted
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and systems within the facility, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard including develop personnel training plans of fully cross-trained organization, develop roadmaps for facilities improvement and report KPI within facilities and maintenance organizations.
• Develop and manage the facility budget, including capital expenditures and operating expenses.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facility operations and safety, including security, chemicals, acids, ionizing radiation.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in facilities management and maintenance, preferably in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge in utilities and facilities management, including cleanroom basics, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural systems, energy efficiency, and production processes, with proven work safety certification.
• Solid understanding of building processes, construction principles, and relevant regulations and building codes.
• Proven experience managing budgets and capital expenditures, strong project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of explaining technical information to non-technical stakeholders and addressing issues proactively.
