Senior EHS Engineer

In the Group Funtions, we support the market-oriented divisions with central services. We work together today on the solutions for tomorrow - in close cooperation with our customers and always with high quality standards.

What you will do: 

• Provide direction/leadership/expertise on EHS related matters including interpretation of Malaysian laws & regulations & COMET’s requirements,
• Knowledge of best safety practices, conduct risk assessment, formulation of strategy to provide pragmatic solution on ESH related matters.
  Establish and develop & successfully implement ESH policies/guidelines and programs to ensure compliance with local regulations & international standards.
• Conduct risk assessment & regular audits to identify hazards & develop action plans for mitigation.
• Key contact point for regulatory on ESH related matters with liaison with governmental agencies & regulatory bodies for inspection, reports & audits.
• Drive plant ISO45001 certification

What you bring: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or Environmental related field.
• Certified Safety & Health officer (SHO) with DOSH, with valid green book.
• Certified lead auditor for ISO 45001 added advantage
• 5+ years of work experience on ESH in manufacturing environment
• Greenfield manufacturing startup (MNC’s) experiences are advantage.
