Sales Operations Administrator

As part of the Industrial X-Ray Systems (IXS) division, our Comet Yxlon brand delivers advanced industrial X-ray and CT solutions for reliable non-destructive testing, analysis and quality assurance in semiconductor, electronics, automotive and other high-tech industries.

What you will do

• Manage the commercial processing of customer and intercompany orders in SAP, from order creation through initial down-payment invoicing and handover to the Order Desk.
• Prepare order confirmations, down-payment invoices, bank guarantee requests, and letters of credit (L/C) initiation while ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Support Sales Managers with customer order preparation in CRM, ensuring compliance with applicable quality guidelines, sales processes, and commercial requirements.
• Create and maintain accurate customer master data in SAP and CRM, conduct customer credit checks, and maintain relevant financial and customer information.
• Provide sales administration and customer support, including managing the Sales Department mailbox, handling customer correspondence, and administering processes such as Cross-Border Sales applications.

What you bring

• Completed commercial or business-related vocational training, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales operations, sales support, order administration, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience in sales order processing, preferably within an international or multinational business environment.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP SD and SAP MM, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Good knowledge of export regulations and VAT legislation, with the ability to handle commercial documentation and cross-border sales processes accurately.
• Very good written and spoken English, with strong communication, organizational, customer-service, and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive and independent working style.
