Project Manager - Global Logistics Transformation

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.
What you will do:
- Lead the investigation phase of the logistics transformation project, working with the consulting arm of a large global logistics company to identify opportunities for improvement and develop a business case for change.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery. Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and coordination of project activities.
- Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed. Lead the implementation of operational projects at multiple sites across the globe, ensuring successful delivery and adoption of new processes and systems.
- Monitor project progress and report on project status to senior management on a regular basis. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Assess and manage risks. Identify and solve basic project risks quickly and effectively. Drive efficiently escalation process. Create strategies for contingency planning and for risk mitigation.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the logistics industry.
- Experience leading global transformation projects, including business case development, operational implementation, and change management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficient with PM methodologies (especially waterfall and hybrid) PMP certification or similar
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain project documentation for progress and issue reporting and for knowledge building purposes. Ability to travel to APAC, USA and CH/GER up to 20%
