Operational Buyer (Indirect Purchasing)

In the Group Funtions, we support the market-oriented divisions with central services. We work together today on the solutions for tomorrow - in close cooperation with our customers and always with high quality standards.

What you will do:

• Operational order processing of indirect material, services, and Capex orders. Review and validate Purchase Requisition for CAPEX and indirect products/services for sites in scope.
• Create and expedite Purchase Orders, verify PO receipt by vendors and manage late invoice payments. PO/Invoice management assistance. Monitor data accuracy in SAP (e.g. PO receipt and fulfilment dates)
• Work closely with Accounts Payable and the P2P enablement team to resolve invoice queries.
• Support procurement key vendors with commercial and PO/Invoice activities. Support sourcing activities execution.
• Assist where needed with vendor commercial engagements, contract preparation, execution, and vendor setup. 

What you bring:

• At least a Bachelor's Degree holder in equivalent/related field
• At least 2-5 years’ experience in purchasing, ideally in an industrial environment or in a comparable position
• Good knowledge of MS-Office and SAP
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Mandarin and, Malay
• Resilient, independent, reliable and team player. Systematic approach to problem solving.
