Logistics & Trade Compliance Manager

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.
What you will do:
- Warehouse Management
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize space utilization and ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Inventory Control
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to minimize stockouts, overstocks, and discrepancies.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
- Logistics and Distribution
- Plan, organize, and oversee the distribution of products to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with transportation providers to optimize routes and manage shipping schedules.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Vendor Management & Safety and Trade Compliance
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics service providers to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
- Enforce safety protocols and standards within the warehouse to ensure a secure working environment.
- Ensure compliance with LMW regulations related to warehouse and transportation operations.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting & Process Improvement
- Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve warehouse and logistics performance.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the warehouse and logistics operations.
- Implement best practices and technology solutions to enhance efficiency.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in warehouse management, logistics and trade compliance using SAP
- Strong understanding of inventory management, distribution, and transportation processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and LMW trade requirements in logistics and warehousing.
