Head of Data Analytics

What you will do:

• Foster a culture of learning individualized development plans (certifications, coursework, etc.). Translate corporate objectives into an analytics roadmap; prioritize high‑impact projects, maintain a portfolio view, secure budget approvals, and track ROI of analytics investments.
• Lead Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Review, Retrospective) for data‑science squads; ensure robust project scoping, risk identification, and timeline adherence.
• Oversee the full model lifecycle – research, validation, production deployment, monitoring, and retirement – and enforce version‑control, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation standards.
• Serve as contact for business leaders; translate business problems into data‑science hypotheses, define success metrics, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Govern data‑access policies, security compliance, and alignment with corporate data‑governance frameworks.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (required); Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 5‑9 years of progressive experience in data‑science roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity; proven record of delivering end‑to‑end analytical solutions that generated measurable business outcomes.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) or R (tidyverse, caret, keras); strong statistical analysis, machine‑learning, model‑interpretability (SHAP/LIME), time‑series forecasting, anomaly detection, and optimization skills.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Databricks. Proficiency in data‑visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, D3/Plotly) and strong SQL capabilities; familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) and distributed processing frameworks (Spark, Hive, Hadoop).
• Experience deploying models on cloud platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform) and building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
