Global IT/MES Solution Engineer

In the Group Funtions, we support the market-oriented divisions with central services. We work together today on the solutions for tomorrow - in close cooperation with our customers and always with high quality standards.

What you will do:

• Advising project managers in infrastructure and software projects on suitable solutions regarding OT systems and database connectivity and implementing the required functionality.
• Contact person for the OT backend systems including participation in the expansion and optimization of OT backend systems according to the needs of the various divisions.
• Design and setup of application servers based on MS and Linux and writes guidelines and policies for IT use in OT environments.
• Ensuring full compliance with predefined corporate guidelines, e.g., data protection, IT architecture, IT security.
• Sub-project manager for OT backend systems & database projects of the divisions.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's level education in computer science, business informatics or comparable field.
• Extensive work experience in the IT sector in internationally operating companies.
• Very good knowledge of the introduction, design and operation of Microsoft SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, Python MS and Linux-based application servers.
• Proven knowledge in project management.
• Very good English skills, both spoken and written.
