Global Director of Project Management

What You Will Do

• Lead and develop Comet's Global PMO, managing a cross-national team of senior project managers to deliver strategic and transformation initiatives worldwide.
• Drive the evolution of the Group PMO methodology by simplifying governance, introducing AI-enabled solutions, and implementing best-in-class project and portfolio management practices.
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Group-wide Project & Portfolio Management System (PPMS), ensuring real-time visibility into project performance and resource allocation.
• Partner with executive leadership to translate Comet's 2030 Strategy into structured programs, providing governance, transparency, risk management, and successful delivery across the organization.
• Build a Project Management Center of Excellence by strengthening project capabilities, standardizing methodologies, coaching teams, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring

• University degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, with extensive experience leading enterprise-wide PMOs, transformation programs, or strategic initiatives.
• Proven success managing international, cross-functional project teams and delivering complex programs within multinational organizations.
• Strong expertise in project governance, portfolio management, PMO methodologies, stage-gate processes, and implementing Project & Portfolio Management Systems (PPMS).
• Strategic leadership with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing executive leaders, driving organizational change, and aligning global teams toward shared objectives.
• Professional project management certification (PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) and experience with AI-enabled project management solutions, SAP, or enterprise transformation programs are highly desirable.
