Finance IT Analyst (SAP FICO)

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.
What you will do:
- Support production system incidents on daily basis by proactively responding to tickets. Support Finance and Controlling projects and initiatives (IT).
- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of Finance and Controlling systems (e.g. SAP) as well as the overall data architecture.
- Perform business (process) analysis and translate business requirements into workable solutions and/or functional design for specific projects and changes, including development.
- Write functional analysis for specific configurations, reports, business documents and developments.
- Collaborate with the finance community, key users, business process owners and AMS partners, ensuring all Finance and Controlling-related requests are handled efficiently and delivered on time
What you bring:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT and business roles with broad exposure to various technical environments and business sectors with focus on:
- Proactively investigate system malfunctions
- Customizing SAP FICO standard features
- Design and create RICEFW functional description
- Testing standard and custom solutions
- Participate in data migration
- 3+ years of proven experience with SAP Finance and Controlling. Comet uses the following modules and functionalities, but it’s not expected to have experience with all of these:
- COPA
- Product costing
- Project system
- Finance GL and AP/AR
- Finance bank relations, Idoc connectivity. Experience with TIS treasury solution is a plus.
- New asset accounting
- SAP Vendor invoice management by Opentext
- SAP Revenue accounting and reporting (RAR)
- SAP RE-FX
- Basic ABAP skills (read code)
- Knowledge of S/4 HANA is an advantage as Comet will transition to S/4 in the close future
- Proficiency in English is required
- Strong service orientation with a global mindset and willingness to travel occasionally
