Facilities Engineer (Contract 4 months)

In the Group Funtions, we support the market-oriented divisions with central services. We work together today on the solutions for tomorrow - in close cooperation with our customers and always with high quality standards.

What you will do:

• Oversee the operation efficiency & effectiveness of manufacturing infrastructures, which includes both mechanical (Eg: HVAC/AHU/GENSET/CDA/WWTP/RODI/NITROGEN/LIFT/ electrical (Eg: ATS/UPS/SWITCHGEAR/TRANSFORMER/DISTRIBUTION PANEL) & building maintenance with strong understanding and hands-on experience of maintain & optimizing critical utilities system.
• Experience with BMS/SCADA, CMMS software and leverage on IoT for maintenance and asset & master data management, service providers/OEM contracts & SLA adherence to plant standards, governance, compliance requirements.
• Implement energy efficient & cost savings activities, including the preparation & execution of facilities equipment validation.
• Establish and implement procedures, troubleshooting drills, maintenance plans, functionality & compliance, renewals and regular inspections for building, facilities equipment and firefighting/lift system, while leading, training, and managing the maintenance team to coordinate repairs and ensure full compliance with safety regulations and COMET’s standards.
• Monitor utilities utilization and plant system performance to ensure sufficient installed capacity and optimal operations, while participating the installation, testing, and commissioning of utilities for new machinery and implementing optimization plans to improve uptime, energy efficiency, and overall system effectiveness. 

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding and technically competent in plant’s critical infrastructure. Greenfield manufacturing startup (MNC’s) experiences are advantages.
• 5+ years of work experience in a facilities or maintenance role in manufacturing environment with familiarity in regulatory compliance of workplace safety & sustainability
• A good team player with great teamwork skills, able to handle multiple tasks, and are data oriented.
• IT literate and willing to support on weekends, shifts & public holidays
