Director Quality Assurance

We develop and produce innovative high-tech components and systems based on X-ray and radio-frequency technology. Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication. 

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What you will do:

• Drive business process improvement initiatives by managing the global process landscape and ensuring its effectiveness across all PCT functions and sites
• Develop and maintain Operations Quality KPI dashboards while driving harmonized technical and business process improvements across all PCT sites.
• Ensure proper documentation, sharing, and application of technical and business process learnings, while providing guidance on quality requirements to site teams as needed.
• Act as the primary interface for customer and external audits (e.g. ISO 9001:2015) while disseminating relevant standards (industry, regulatory, and customer) to respective departments to support timely and effective responses to customer issues.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25–50% of the time

What you bring:

• Advanced degree in materials science or engineering preferred
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and 10+ years of experience in customer issue resolution, and developing improvement plans and their implementation
• Strong analytical, strategic, and tactical thinking skills for continuous improvement and problem-solving with in-depth knowledge of quality methodologies (e.g., statistical analysis, PDCA, D/PFMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, ECO, MTBF/AFR)
• Experience with RF components such as matching networks, RF generators and vacuum capacitors will be strongly preferred
• SAP experience is desirable
