Cyber Support Engineer

In the Group Funtions, we support the market-oriented divisions with central services. We work together today on the solutions for tomorrow - in close cooperation with our customers and always with high quality standards.
What you will do:
- Support daily ISMS and CSMS operations, maintain cybersecurity documentation, and assist audit preparation while ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, TISAX, IEC 62443, the Cyber Resilience Act and original equipment manufacturer cybersecurity requirements.
- Assist in CVE intake, triage, scoring, remediation tracking, and verification while ensuring accurate records, CVSS scoring, SBOM updates, and supplier vulnerability tracking.
- Create and manage Halo tickets for incidents, requests, and changes, ensuring data accuracy, workflow compliance, SLA monitoring, and timely escalation when required.
- Monitor security dashboards and metrics (SLA, remediation timelines, exceptions), maintain security registers (CVE Register, Supplier CVE Register & Exception Register), and support governance reporting and data analysis activities.
- Coordinate cybersecurity communication between engineering teams, suppliers, and global stakeholders, preparing structured updates and maintaining audit-ready communication logs in Halo.
What you bring:
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals including vulnerabilities, CVEs, CVSS, software bill of materials (SBOM), and the ability to interpret vulnerability databases and vendor advisories.
- Experience working within cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001 or similar standards, with knowledge of cyber security management systems and compliance documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with secure development practices, vulnerability management processes, IT service management platforms (e.g., Halo), and basic knowledge of embedded systems or supply chain environments.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with established workflows.
- Effective communication skills in English (Bahasa Malaysia advantageous), with the ability to coordinate with local engineering teams and global stakeholders across multiple time zones.
