As part of the Industrial X-Ray Systems (IXS) division, our Comet Yxlon brand delivers advanced industrial X-ray and CT solutions for reliable non-destructive testing, analysis and quality assurance in semiconductor, electronics, automotive and other high-tech industries.
What You'll Do
- Ensure materials are available on time for production by managing purchase orders, supplier confirmations, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance, follow up on overdue deliveries, and resolve order or delivery exceptions.
- Manage inventory, safety stock, subcontracting activities, and internal logistics to support smooth operations.
- Handle operational procurement activities, including invoice verification, price discrepancy resolution, and material master data maintenance in SAP.
- Support product phase-outs, quality issue resolution, supplier communication, and operational reporting/KPI activities.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, with purchasing/procurement knowledge preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in operational purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (MM module) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage suppliers, coordinate across functions, and resolve delivery, inventory, and quality-related issues.
- Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Malay; additional knowledge of German, Korean, or Japanese is an advantage.
