Buyer

We develop and produce innovative high-tech components and systems based on X-ray and radio-frequency technology. Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication. 

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What You Will Do

• Ensure seamless material flow by coordinating closely with planning, production, and logistics to meet dynamic demand requirements
• Manage supplier relationships, including handling escalations, resolving delivery issues, and driving performance improvements
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and engineering changes (ECR) by coordinating sourcing, revisions, and supplier readiness
• Oversee invoice verification, returns (NCR), and dunning processes to maintain financial accuracy and supplier accountability
• Contribute to plant setup and global alignment by working with cross-functional and international teams to establish efficient supply chain operations

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong expertise in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
• Proven negotiation, supplier management, and problem-solving skills with strong cost and quality awareness
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, production, logistics, and global teams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and across multicultural teams
