Accountant (SSC APAC)

In the Group Funtions, we support the market-oriented divisions with central services. We work together today on the solutions for tomorrow - in close cooperation with our customers and always with high quality standards.

What you will do:

• Ensure correct recording of the financial transactions in SAP R3 under IFRS/MFRS accounting standards incl. the proper documentation/approval of the journal entries (30%)
• Manage processes in the sub-ledgers such as accounts payables, accounts receivables and fixed assets. Prepare reconciliations and analysis of accounts. Investigate any discrepancies/anomalies and post correcting entries if needed (40%)
• Support the closing and reporting procedures in SAP R3 and Hyperion HFM (10%)
• Support the team lead in ensuring compliance with local laws & regulations incl. tax compliance. Perform internal control procedures to safeguard assets and prevent fraud (10%)
• Ensure close collaboration with colleagues, department heads and external stakeholders. Support the business by providing reliable information/financial data (10%)

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field. Required to have approx. 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Accounting Principles: Understanding of the accounting standards IFRS / MFRS.
• Taxation: Knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to income tax, sales tax, payroll tax, etc.
• Financial Analysis & Software: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making. Proficiency in using accounting software such as SAP or Hyperion HFM. Strong Excel skills.
• Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and collaborate with team members. English proficiency level at least B1.
