Verification & Test Engineer R&D 90-100% (on-site)

We develop and produce innovative high-tech components and systems based on X-ray and radio-frequency technology. Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication. 

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What you will do:

• Planning and execution of qualification tests for embedded RF systems and sub-components
• Defining test cases, plans and strategies based on specifications
• Design and setup of hardware test stands, fixtures and lab experiments
• Development and programming of automated test scripts
• Documentation, visualization of test results and close collaboration with HW/SW teams
  
  

What you bring:  

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or similar, with min. 5 years of experience in industrial R&D or test labs
• Strong knowledge in analog and digital measurement techniques and hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum/network analyzer, etc.)
• Proven experience in test automation including programming skills (Python, C/C++, LabView or similar)
• Practical experience with communication interfaces and technologies (e.g. fieldbus, Ethernet, EtherCAT, RS-232); RF and/or embedded systems are a strong plus
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
