Materials & Vacuum Physics Expert 80-100%

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.
What you will do:

Develop and validate materials for vacuum capacitor components in high-voltage RF applications.

Lead technology studies, experiments, and data-driven investigations.

Analyze vacuum breakdown mechanisms and improve material performance.

Perform material characterization, especially for ceramics and copper.

Work hands-on in the lab in FLA and translate results into engineering solutions.
What you bring:
-
MSc or PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of industry experience in materials, R&D, or engineering.

Expertise in materials behavior, vacuum technology, or high-voltage/RF applications.

Hands-on experience with characterization and failure investigation.

Strong collaboration skills; English required, German is a plus.
