MES Engineer (m/w/d)

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What you will do:
•    Support local digital manufacturing systems (MES, machine integration) within a global smart manufacturing team 
•    Gather requirements, design, configure routings, test and deploy MES system solutions 
•    Apply lean principles to simplify MES processes
•    Collaborate on Industry 4. 0 projects to design and implement automation and efficiency improvements 
•    Develop training materials and train business users on MES systems

What you bring: 
•    Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with at least 3 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role in Manufacturing Execution System 
•    Technical background with IT affinity and a good understanding of IT systems and processes, experience in SAP PP, MM preferred 
•    Experience with a specific MES 42Q or an industry standard MES is an advantage 
•    Business fluent in written and spoken English and good German skills mandatory
