Head of Manufacturing Engineering 80-100%

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What you will do:

• Lead the Equipment Engineering, Technical Process Engineering, and Industrialization teams, both technically and disciplinarily
• Take responsibility for the design, evaluation, procurement, and commissioning of production equipment and manufacturing assets
• Drive the industrialization of standard products by developing lean manufacturing concepts, creating production documentation, and maintaining MES master data
• Develop, document, maintain, and validate technical manufacturing processes
• Continuously optimize manufacturing processes, material flow, handling, documentation, and shopfloor layouts in close collaboration with Production 

What you bring: 

• Degree in Engineering or a completed technical education with further qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken are mandatory
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within an industrial manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills, with proven experience in leading and developing teams 
• Solid technical expertise in industrial automation; experience in vacuum technology, high-voltage technology, or materials engineering is considered a strong asset
• Experience with modern engineering and manufacturing processes as well as digital tools such as MES, PLM, Confluence, or Jira is an advantage
