We develop and produce innovative high-tech components and systems based on X-ray and radio-frequency technology. Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication. 

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What you will do:

• Lead the R&D department in Flamatt as a member of the global R&D management team
• Develop the location strategy to enable efficient cross-site collaboration with other PCT R&D locations
• Establish and maintain the required development processes and tools aligned with our global standards
• Ensure availability and continuous development of the right skills and partnerships to drive innovation 
• Maintain medium- and long-term growth through technological advancement in the PCT division

What you bring:

• Advanced degree in physics, electrical engineering, computer science or similar fields 
• Min. 5 years of leadership experience in an industrial company, preferably in a larger R&D department operating in an international environment
• Experience in the semiconductor industry and background in RF technology are a big plus
• Used to working in cross-functional matrix structures with interdisciplinary teams and projects 
• Own hands-on experience in end-to-end product development from inception to market introduction
• Strong communication and leadership skills, innovation management and analytical thinking
• Fluent in English, German is a big plus
