In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touchscreens for sensors, smartphones or tablets. At the German PCT site, our expertise lies primarily in the field of HF generators.
What you will do:
- Coordinate procurement processes: Creating, controlling and monitoring procurement orders using our ERP system.
- Cost efficiency and process optimization: Controlling and optimizing costs and capital expenditure in the areas of purchasing, stockpiling and internal distribution of goods and services. The aim is to increase the performance, profitability and competitiveness of our company, e.g. by concluding quantity contracts or graduated prices.
- Market research and supplier management: conducting procurement market research and market observation for your product groups and actively developing the supply chain through structured supplier management.
- Contract and quality management: Managing and monitoring contracts and ensuring compliance with general terms and conditions. You are responsible for supplier evaluations, complaints management and quality assurance.
- Cross-team collaboration: Ensuring a smooth flow of information with other departments and successful cross-departmental collaboration.
What you bring:
- Completed commercial education (kaufmännische Berufsausbildung)
- Several years of professional experience as a buyer in the field of mechanics / electrical engineering
- Experience in dealing with merchandise management systems (SAP knowledge desirable)
- Experience in dealing with Windows and Office programs
- Good German & English skills
