PCB-Design Engineer (m/f/d)

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What you will do: 
•    Responsibility for the creation and implementation of PCB designs in close cooperation with the international development team
•    Design of printed circuit board assemblies for use in high-frequency generators, matching networks and other COMET AG products
•    Collaboration in the design of the assembly and connection technology for the printed circuit board assemblies
•    Selection of suitable suppliers, preparation of production documents for prototypes and series assemblies
•    Development and maintenance of the component database and library
•    Coordination with suppliers regarding the manufacture and assembly of printed circuit boards
•    Collaboration in the creation of design rules and in the further development of constraint-driven design

What you bring: 
•    Completed training as an electronics technician and further training as a technician HF or electrical engineer FH
•    Several years of experience in designing printed circuit boards and sound circuit knowledge
•    Knowledge of EMC-compliant and impedance-controlled PCB design
•    Experienced with ECAD software (preferably Altium Designer)
•    Knowledge of device design and connection technology
•    Experience in working with ERP and PLM systems, preferably (SAP and Siemens Teamcenter)
•    Good written and spoken German and English skills
•    CID/CID+ certified and knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) an advantage
